I’m wondering, is Bryony Griffith one of the children who sings on Mike Oldfield’s “Ommadawn” in 1975, and is pictured on the inner sleeve? It’s not a very common name, and she’s obviously all grown-up now, but I doubt if there’d be many others out there with called that. It doesn;t seem to mention this on her online biography.
Hi Danielle, afraid not! I have checked it out and it seems the singer in question (according to Wikipedia!) is Briony Griffiths. So far I have never encountered another Bryony Griffith. Griffith without an ‘s’ is pretty rare and Bryony spelt like the plant is too, so perhaps I’m still the only one. I didn’t even meet another Bryony until I was 17. And I’m also not quite old enough to have done that!
Hello Dave, yes I have the details now and have just updated them on the gigs list. It’s at The Spread Eagle, 47 Eagle Brow, Lymm and starts at 8.30pm. Tickets £8. Hope to see you there?!

Hi Bryony – great album! Do you have any more details on the gig at Lymm on 16 Feb?
Cheers
